  • This is a Pan India Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) for Police, Fire, Medical & other Emergency Services 24/7

  • Emergency Assistance for Women Safety, Child Protection, Fire Alarm, Medical Emergency Helpline that is integrated with Police helpline 100

  • It can identify the location of any person in distress and has an automated response system for the timely dispatch of police ​

Women Helpline

By the Ministry of Women & Child Development (MWCD)

  • Dial 181 for toll-free 24-hour emergency and non-emergency response to women affected by violence through referral (linking with appropriate authority such as Police, One Stop Centers, Hospital, Legal Aid through DLSA)

  • They also provide information about women-related Government schemes and programs.

  • The staff stay with the caller till the problem reaches a logical end/conclusion. They also take feedback on a daily and weekly basis to ensure the safety of women.

  • The Call Respondent staff are specialized in crimes against women and have qualifications of MSW (Master of Social Work)/ L.L.M (Master of Law) with vast experience in dealing with women-related issues
